Multiple-fractured Drain

We carried out a drain survey on behalf of an East London construction company planning to build an extension above an underground drain. The survey found the drain to be serviceable, but in a structurally damaged state with multiple fractures identified.

This particular clayware drain would have been at risk of further damage from the building works if left unrepaired.

We were able to restore the structural integrity of the drain run and repair the fractures without excavation with minimal disruption by installing a 100mm diameter cured in-place resin impregnated drain lining. This repair allowed the builders to continue with their project knowing the unforeseen drain problem had been efficiently solved.
